Les Baton Rouge work hard and play hard to raise awareness of feminism and equal rights while fighting for musical renovation. At the moment, these Portuguese natives are living in Berlin (Germany), where they met the new drummer Lars Friedrich.
They're trying to reach something beyond the reality of the established and stable musical territory with an explosive mix of energetic and passionate music influenced by 77 punk, 80's New Wave and the Rrriot Girl Movement.
We like to think of our music as “a friend punching another to wake him up from a terrible catatonia.”

«Open Your Mind» é um espectáculo executado por dois músicos com uma vasta experiência musical e cujas influências lhes chegam de estilos musicais tão diversos como o clássico, jazz e world music. Tudo se encaixa nesse longo caminho musical, privilegiando dois instrumentos musicais: Tablas (instrumento de origem indiana) e o Saxofone, cuja junção resulta numa experiência surpreendente, pela criatividade, beleza e harmonia.
